s people are reclining themselves towards disposable culinary, it is becoming more important for restaurants, coffee shops, and even the street food shops to rely on disposable items like the paper cups, the paper plates, and even the thermoplastic items. Every day, millions of paper cups are being supplied to each city and millions of them are being disposed off in the dustbin without taking proper measures.

We are becoming busy in our daily lives, and that’s why perhaps we do not spare a glance at the consequences of our reckless behaviors. No matter what steps the Government undertakes to clear the seas, the water bodies, the streets, and even the sewer pipes, pollution level due to these paper cups is going to increase day day.
And now, after looking at so many adverse effects, we can never say that the paper cups are eco-friendly; especially not when these so-called eco-friendly items are actually the greatest foe of nature.
Hundreds of disposable paper cup exporters in Punjab deal with various types of paper cups, some with wax lining while some with a plastic lining- both of which are not at all healthy for the environment.
So, here are the reasons which have proved to be effective in deeming the paper cup as an ecological foe of the twenty-first century.
SEAS AND OCEANS DO NOT HAVE A WATER SURFACE, THEY HAVE A ‘PAPER CUP SURFACE’
As the paper cups are disposed off in the surroundings, these cups finally find their way to the water bodies, especially the sea, the oceans, and the river. The River Thames in England is mostly covered with the coffee cups, the paper cups, and even the disposable water cups.

In fact, in most of the coastal areas, you can hardly see any water from the surface. All that you will be able to see is the different forms of the paper cups, some intact, some crumbled, and even some as small as your thumb while some as big as your palm. Nevertheless, water pollution is a must when we are talking about the paper cups, let alone the harmful effects these cups have on the biodiversity of the water bodies.
PAPER CUPS ARE NOT RECYCLABLE- START BELIEVING THAT
Many people believe that as the paper is made from the tree pulp, these items are recyclable and perhaps this is the main reason behind the negligence of people. However, the true fact is that the paper cups are not at all recyclable. The natural scavengers cannot degrade the paper material and even if the degradation process is initiated, it will take around twenty years to finish the degradation of one cup.
THE MICROPLASTIC IS INCREASING THE LEVEL OF ENVIRONMENT TOXICITY
The paper cups are lined with a thin layer of microplastic, or wax. These microplastic cannot be degraded naturally. In fact, they have proven to be quite harmful to the animals, and even the kids. The chemicals, which are released when these microplastics are left open in the atmosphere, are enough to cause many severe diseases.

FORESTS ARE NOT GETTING A CHANCE TO BREATHE FREELY AGAIN
As more and more coffer paper cup suppliers in India are establishing their firms, great pressure is put on the trees and the forest covers. Not only in India but also around the globe, forest covers are vanishing from the earth’s surface. The disappearance of the woodlands is resulting in the loss of the natural habitat of the animals and birds, there endangering many species. This is further disturbing the biological balance of the earth, making shifts in ecological factors like climate and even the food webs.
